Cookie's Heart Scholarship Fund is proud to offer support for incoming freshmen from the New Orleans area public school system who are pursuing a nursing degree at a Historically Black College or University (HBCU). We are dedicated to honoring the legacy of Glencie Quarion "Cookie" Metz, who lost her life at the young age of 19 due to a TBI sustained in a car accident. Our scholarship program is designed to support and uplift young women and men as they pursue their dreams of becoming nursing professionals.
